LEX 18: Restoring History Through Innovation

Aisling House and our restoration partner, Complet3D, were featured by LEX 18 News in a segment highlighting the role of emerging technology in historic preservation.

LEX 18 interviewed Alec Whisman of Complet3D in Lexington, where he demonstrated their contribution to the restoration of Aisling House.

Rather than replacing historic features with modern approximations, we worked to recreate original architectural elements with precision — preserving proportion, detail, and intent. This approach allows deteriorated components to be faithfully replicated while maintaining the integrity of the home’s original design.

The result is not simply restoration, but continuation — where traditional craftsmanship and modern fabrication work together to extend the life of the home.

At Aisling House, this balance remains central: preserving the architectural language of 1888 while preparing the home for continued use well into the future.
